Chuck McCracken

PAST VOLLEYBALL EXPERIENCE: McCracken was a 3-year starter on the men’s volleyball team at Earlham College that placed 4th at the NAIA National Tournament his senior year.

COACHING ACCREDITATION: McCracken is certified at Level III in USA Volleyball’s Coaching Accreditation Program.  He is also an instructor for the USA Volleyball IMPACT (Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory) certification program.

COACHING EXPERIENCE: Chuck McCracken has extensive experience coaching: NCAA Division III as well as USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Volleyball Program. His boys 14 & under team took 3rd at the 1990 AAU National Volleyball Championships and his boys 16 & under team finished 11th at the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in 1991.  McCracken is known for his technical understanding of the game and his teams are characterized by their fundamentally sound and intelligent play.  While at Guilford College, McCracken led the Quakers to their first NCAA National Tournament appearance and second Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship in 1993, receiving Coach-of-the Year honors from the conference.
