MAPL Hampton Roads

Three NC Power teams are playing in the Mid-Atlantic Power League (MAPL) this weekend in Hampton Roads.  This is one of the most competitive tournaments on the East Coast

17 Black lost their first two games Saturday morning to two tough teams but finished strong with two wins in their later pool.

“[17 Black] played really well and we learned new things about our team,” coach Glenn Cashion said.  “[We were] having fun and learning to be better.”

17 Black spent one of their breaks shopping for prom dresses.

14 Black also played today at MAPL.  They won one game and lost a tight game in the second.  Middle Hitter Ellis Oliver had the block of the day!

Good luck to all teams!
