PAST VOLLEYBALL EXPERIENCE:  An avid doubles player, Glenn has played USA Volleyball for many years. In 1993 his men’s team won the Carolina Region A Division Championship and in 1995 they took second place.

COACHING ACCREDITATION: Glenn is CAP2 (USAV Coaching Accreditation Program), BCAP (Beach Coaching Accreditation Program) and Beach Impact certified.

COACHING EXPERIENCE: Glenn Cashion has over twenty eight years of experience coaching Junior Olympics and Sand doubles.  He has coached youth and adult, mens and womens, and 6s and 2s teams in his career.  He was the Lead Technical Coach and Assistant Director of the Piedmont Volleyball Club and Sportsplex Volleyball Club. In 1995, his 16U team, and in 1997 his 18U team won the Carolina Regional championship and went to the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic National Tournament. He left this role in 2006 and started NC Power.  Glenn has also coached at Grimsley High School, Page High School and was an Assistant Coach at Guilford College for 6 years. In 1995 and 1996 he established the women’s volleyball club at UNCG and assisted the varsity squad for Mid State 2-A conference champion Western Guilford High School.  In 2008, he founded and NC Power Volleyball Club, the volleyball program at Proehlific Park.  He has also gone to help foster and grow several other Junior Olympic programs around the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area. In the summer of 2011 he coordinated and developed NC Sand Series beach volleyball program as well as helped developed the NC High Performance beach training for players and coaches.
